About us

As fifth generation farmers, we pride ourselves on producing some of the finest meats in Norfolk, having sold our home reared meats to the public since 1997.

We farm in Breckland, covering the villages of Rocklands, Shropham and Eccles.

We are a small family run business, managing the farm, butchery and deliveries. This enables us to provide a bespoke service to our customers who enjoy hearing how the animals are reared on the farm and speaking to our team who really ‘know’ their produce.

We are experienced in supplying both to retail customers and the catering trade, including a number of high profile local and national clients who were looking to source the very best for their menus. We pride ourselves on being able to provide a fast, efficient and professional service to the caterer, both large and small- providing information and support to embellish your menu.

This same professional, efficient and friendly service is provided to our retail customers who enjoy the traditional methods of buying their meat from the butchers.

Our specialist team of butchers take great care in hanging and traditionally cutting each carcass to meet your needs. All cuts are available, both traditional and modern, and our close work with the English Beef and Lamb Executive (EBLEX) means that we have access to many new ideas of cutting and presentation, to offer you a variety and individuality in your meat.

our produce

Our Suckler herd of cattle is made up of traditional Hereford cows for their strong maternal instincts matched up with top class British Blue bulls, to give very strong beef calves. Our beef is hung for a minimum of two weeks to allow the meat to mature and maximise the eating quality.

Our lamb is from our extensively grazed flock of Suffolk ewes which we cross with a Berrichon du Cher and Beltex rams to give a well conformed, lean, lamb perfect for the consumer market. We have recently begun to increase our flock numbers breeding our own replacements from our new Norfolk Horn ewes and Blue-faced Leicester ram.

All our animals are slaughtered at our most local abattoir in Norwich, minimising time of travel for the animals.

We also attend various farmers markets where we take a variety of our products pre-packed.


We pride ourselves on our exclusive selection of sausages and burgers, handmade by our butchers using the very best ingredients.

There is a selection of our home cooked meats, and an extensive range of home cooked ready meals and pies from our own meat, using traditional family recipes. Our latest popular product is our family recipe of black and white pudding.
